We had a good day today, mostly. We had a few chores to do this morning, but then we went to lunch at this awesome restaurant called The Iron Press. It was Carmen's dream come true: waffle sandwiches! Carmen had a fried chicken waffle sandwich with jalapeno syrup and I had a prosciutto gruyere waffle sandwich - and we split some garlic parmesan tater tots. We walked around for a bit, got some gelato and generally enjoyed the sunshine.
After we got home, we splashed around in the pool for a bit and after Jayden went to bed - early! at about 7:15 pm - I made breakfast for dinner for some continued father's day fun. 
Carmen said he got more text messages and notes from people about his first father's day. He really appreciated all the love, so thank you for making it a special day for him.

| One of our favorite games to play is to put a hat on Jayden and to watch him take it off. He always tries to pull it forward, which just doesn't work. But he's persistent and usually figures out that he needs to lift up. Then, even if Carmen puts the hat on his own head, Jayden tries to take it off. So fun. |

| Jayden and I went to the grocery store today while Carmen was having lunch with his client. I used the shopping cart cover I bought recently so he could sit in the cart with me. It was a lot of fun, although I did raelize that he now can reach the shelves and I need to keep the cart in the middle of the aisle. Luckily I didn't learn that lesson the hard way. |

| Enjoying the sunshine in the pool. We didn't get in the floaty today - just sat on the first step, splashed and watched Daddy and Jasmine run around. It was fun until he pooped. Thank goodness for swim diapers!!! |
