Anyways, Carmen is out of town again - he left the house at about 4 am this morning and will get back sometime after midnight tonight. I am beyond exhausted, to the point that I'm forgetting things, running into things and making mistakes I never make. So I spent the day lounging around the house. Still couldn't get myself to nap, but at least I wasn't super active, I guess.
Jayden is growing and maturing as fast as ever. Julia (our daycare provider) told me yesterday that he was loving watching the older kids. Apparently they were throwing a stuffed animal in the air and he was laughing and waving his arms; she said she'd never heard him laugh like that before. So cute. I love that he has that exposure to older kids and can try to mimic their actions.
It is just about bedtime, so Jayden is starting to get fussy; I just wanted to share a couple of pictures I took today:

| Jayden has discovered how cool Sophie the Giraffe is. She squeaks and is a wonderful thing to chew on! Plus, he can hold her in his hands pretty easily. Jasmine hates it, because clearly anything that squeaks should be hers, but she's learning. |
