We had our 18 month check-up yesterday and Jayden is very healthy. He is 34-5/8" tall - almost three feet! He weighed in at 27 pounds, 6 ounces. And his head is 50 cm - thanks to his daddy! Our doctor didn't have any concerns about Jayden and said he thinks his ear infections are finally going away. He did get one more shot and a heel prick. Lucky for him he won't have to get another shot (besides flu shots if we choose to get them) until he goes to kindergarten. The heel prick was to check his iron, and he was completely normal - so no more worries about that!
I have jury duty today, so I was out of the house by 7 am this morning. Jayden had woken up around 3 am and Carmen brought him back to our bed, so I don't know if he's feeling bad again. I really hope not. If anything, I'm hoping the shot just affected him but that he'll recover by the end of the day today.
