Just being cute

Which is clearly what Jayden is really good at:

A picture taken for Daddy, while he is "working" in Hawaii.  It's really hard for us to feel bad for him.  But we know he misses his baby, so I try to make sure he gets pictures regularly.  And a little boost to his ego never hurt, either!

Not so excited about smiling, but still looking pretty adorable, and totally living up to his shirt (thanks Aunt Stacy!)

In other news, being a single working mom is rough.  Not unbearable rough, but still rough.  It's only been two days, and so far we're doing okay.  Jayden has very nicely decided to behave at night.  On Monday night he slept from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am and then from 2:30ish to 6:30ish.  I of course had a problem with the pump, so I was up until 3:45 am and then woke up before 6:00 am to start getting ready, but that's not so bad.  Tuesday night he slept from about 9:00 pm to just before 2:00 am.  He went back to sleep in his crib from 2:00 to 2:30 am while I pumped.  After I settled him down, he and I slept in my bed the rest of the night.  Not the best sleep for me, but better than sleeping in the glider!  We'll see how it goes tonight . . . I never hold my breath because you just never know.  :)
