A few more pictures - very little text!

My little Sagehen!  CHIRP!

Dakota and Austin.  When they were born, they were the same size.  But Austin is one month younger than Dakota and he is now the same size or bigger than her.  Lili said he gained three pounds in the last month!

Some cute little giggles.  Sorry for my singing in the background, but she giggles and smiles the most when we sing to her.  So sing we do.  Carmen is much better at coming up with songs to sing than I am.  I tend to repeat the same three or four songs.  My brain freezes when it comes to these things for some reason - it's one reason I felt I wasn't a "good" mom with Jayden - I could never come up with songs to entertain him.  BUT.  I may sing the same one or two songs over and over, but the kids don't care.  I sang the same "sleepy" song to Jayden for probably a year and a half.  And I could sing the same one or two songs to Dakota all. day. long. and I'd get the same reaction  I think I'd get bored of it, but she'd be fine.

The wall at our photographer's studio.  Recognize the family photo on the right?!?

AND, apparently we got a video, too.  So here's the link to the video of the maternity session.  Jayden is seriously just the cutest.  I love the purple dress (and I totally started a trend - I'm so proud!), but my favorites are the one of all of our hands on my belly and the one of me and Jayden in our jeans looking at each other.  I think because it felt the most natural out of all of them.

Baby push-up.  She still hates tummy time, but she loves sitting up and standing up so much that I'm not so worried.  She works plenty on her neck muscles and ab and leg muscles, and she definitely isn't getting a flat head.

These two are the cutest, looking at each other all the time.
When Dakota and I pick up Jayden from daycare, if she's awake, she looks up at him for most of the car ride home.  It's very cute.

Vanessa and Mike came to visit last Sunday while Carmen was at his fantasy football draft and the three of us ended up in a pig pile together.  Jayden and I were fine, but Dakota was a little overwhelmed.  Funny enough, the part she hates the most about our bedtime routine is the family hug part.  Almost inevitably, she screams during the whole hug.  So funny.

Trying to get a good picture of Jayden in his hate.  Apparently this one was darker than I realized.  He wouldn't stand still, smile and look at the camera, so finally I told him to strike a pose.  This is what I got.  I'll take it since he's not blurry.  If only I hadn't messed up the lighting and you could really see his face....

The three of us in our Seahawks gear.  It was a football Sunday so Carmen spent most of his day upstairs in the theater room.  The three of us hung out downstairs and played with all of Jayden's new toys.  We had a pretty good day, and kept pretty busy.  We did a puzzle, painted a wooden car, played a matching game, put together a Lego race car, played with water and the Hot Wheels track and color changer cars and did a couple more things too.  I think yesterday wore him out because he wasn't interested in running around or swimming at all.

Jayden holding Dakota today - not one of the more loving pictures, but he was being so careful with her.  He even had her head on his arm appropriately.  But then his arm got tired - she's getting heavy - and he was holding her with her head angled down, which she did not like so much.  Once I supported his elbow to prop her head back up again, she was a little better.
